Managing your PADS Pro projects in Connect requires VX.2.8, Update 7 or later. After upgrading you will need to enable Connect under the File>Data Management Integration menu option.

Your local projects can be saved to Connect using the File>Upload to Connect menu option. When uploading a project, you have the option of creating a new project or uploading to an existing empty project. Empty projects are created when you select the Create Project command from the Connect application.

Projects saved to Connect can be checked out for editing by using the Edit Exclusive command. After the command is selected the project will be downloaded to a local cache on your computer and opened in PADS Pro. Once your changes are complete and your project is closed it is saved to Connect as the next latest version.
