Opening and Viewing Image Files | Siemens EDA Help Center

You can open and view image files from your project's Files page in the Connect application. Use tools in the interface to select and open an image file in a viewer.

The uploaded image files must adhere to the following file format extensions; otherwise, the image file will not display in the viewer.

Supported Image File Format Extensions

.apng	.jpg
.avif	.pjp
.bmp	.pjpeg
.gif	.png
.ico	.svg
.jfif	.webp
.jpeg

Prerequisites

You selected a project name and version from the Project > Design page.
The project's Files page displays in the web browser.
(Optional) You created one or more folders that contain the uploaded ancillary image files.

Procedure

Browse for and select an image filename in the Files page and then click Display Image.
When the image file displays in the viewer, perform any of the following operations:

Operation	Steps
Adjust the size of the image.	Zoom In and Zoom Out — Click to change the image magnification by preset levels. Reset to Original Size — Click to restore the view to the original size of the image file.
Download the image file to your machine.	Click Download.
Pan the image in the viewer.	Click and drag the cursor to move the image and then release the mouse button.
Close an image. Close the image viewer interface.	Click anywhere in the image viewer window or click Close to return to the Files page.
