Swap integrates with Mintsoft to automate Quality Control (QC) and improve returns processing efficiency. This article outlines the setup process and key behaviours of the integration.
This article is for users of Returns V2. For the Returns V1 version, click here.
Requirements
Before connecting:
Mintsoft returns are only retrieved using the Mintsoft order number.
You must provide a permanent API key. Keys linked to a username and password are not supported.
For the integration to run successfully, you need to ensure that all the data pulled from Mintsoft matches what is in Swap. This means Return reasons, SKUs and Order IDs must be exactly the same - including upper/lower case usage, prefixes, spaces, dashes, etc
Notes
Returns are processed on a one-day delay. For example:
Returns are processed on a one-day delay. For example, a return received in Mintsoft on 27 May will be updated in Swap on 28 May.
If a return is manually processed before Swap’s update, it will be skipped in the automated workflow
Connecting Mintsoft
To connect Mintsoft, you must provide a permanent API key. This enables automatic synchronisation between Mintsoft and Swap.
Please refer to Mintsoft's documentation on how to request a static API key.
⚠️ Note: Linking via username and password is not supported.
Open the Returns drop-down menu
Go to "Integrations"
Under "Mintsoft", click "Connect"
Enter your API key and Client ID
Click "Connect"
You now need to map the conditions
For more information, please refer here.
Finally, select manual or automatic processing
⚠️ Note: Swap only recognises return conditions when they are set in the Return Reason field. Using the Stock Condition field will not sync correctly.
Return Reasons vs Conditions
Swap pulls Return Reasons from Mintsoft as conditions.
Always use the Return Reason field in Mintsoft to represent condition.
Do not use the Stock Condition field, as it will not sync with Swap.
Integration Features
Sync QC Data from Mintsoft to Swap
Condition Mapping: Once the Mintsoft API key is connected, QC conditions are pulled automatically into Swap.
Condition names must remain unchanged in Swap to ensure they stay in sync with Mintsoft.
If QC conditions aren't appearing, verify the API key and check the condition setup in Mintsoft
