When you sell a skin on SwapX, the money doesn't always land in your wallet instantly - and that's completely normal. Here's how it works.
Available balance
These are funds ready to withdraw right now. No restrictions, no waiting - just go ahead and cash out whenever you want.
On Hold balance
These are funds waiting to be unlocked. The reason? Steam Trade Hold.
When you sell an item on SwapX, Steam places a 7-day trade hold on that transaction. During this time, the sale can still be cancelled - this is Steam's own security feature, not ours. Once those 7 days pass without a cancellation, the money moves to your Available balance and you're free to withdraw it.
How do I check when my funds unlock?
Click on your On Hold balance - you'll see a list of your transactions with a countdown timer for each one showing exactly when the trade hold expires.
TL;DR: On Hold = money for items Steam is still holding. Once the trade hold expires → funds move to Available automatically.
