What is changing?
In Phase 1:
As of early March 2022, you will notice the SWD invoice layout will take on a new look and feel, and the invoices will now be emailed directly to the email address we have on file as well as a physical copy sent with the goods.
In Phase 2:
As of early April 2022, you will only receive the invoice via email, and only a delivery docket will be sent with the goods.
What does this mean for you?
You will receive your invoices via your nominated email address and a delivery docket will be sent with your order to you or your customer (assuming the order is dropshipped).
Why the change?
To ensure that invoices do not go missing.
Simplify the process for your accountant or bookkeeper.
Avoid your customers getting your invoices when using our dropshipping service and ensure you receive your invoice every time.

What do I need to do?
All you need to do is make sure SWD have your preferred email on file by updating your contact information in the SWD trade account portal or contact your SWD customer service team for assistance.
What email address will my invoices be sent to?
Your invoices will be automatically sent to the email address that SWD have on file. Note well if this is not where you want your invoices to go or you are unsure what email we have, please check your online account settings or contact your SWD customer service team for assistance.
When will this change happen?
Phase 1 will begin early March 2022 which means your invoices will be emailed, and for a short period of time, you will still be sent a hard copy invoice. Phase 2 starting in early April 2022, SWD will only send delivery dockets (no pricing) with goods, and invoices will be sent via email only.
What if I want my invoices to go directly to my bookkeeper/accountant?
On the SWD trade portal, you have the ability to send invoices/statements directly to any preferred email address. You can keep your website login email address and your Sales & Marketing email address separate so that your accountant will only receive emails that are relevant to your account with SWD.
How does this change improve Dropshipping?
When utilising the dropshipping service offered by SWD, it is important that your customer does not receive your invoice. With this change, your customer will only receive a delivery docket detailing what they have received and the quantity. All pricing is excluded from this document.
