How does a user see the payment request?

What if the customer doesn't have the app?

When you send a user a payment request they will receive the request on three different platforms. The person you are requesting will receive an email and a text linking them to the connected accounts. This will also be followed by a notification and appear on the SynchPay app where they will see the request under the unpaid section in payments.

The date of the request will be connected to the specific payment on the app along with the details of the payment.

The user is new to SynchPay

They will receive a message at whichever communication method(s) you entered when sending the payment request (text and/or email).

The user has paid via SynchPay before, but hasn't downloaded the app or forgets how to log in

They will receive a push notification, as well as a text and email, if they still have the app installed. They will receive a tailored message if their account has been used before.

SynchPay doesn't use passwords, but rather on-device authentication. They just need to re-download the app and enter their phone number.

The user uses SynchPay

They will receive a push notification from the app, as well as text and email notifications unless they have turned them off.
