Our new integration feature simplifies the process of linking Jira projects with your R&D platform, Synnch. This reduces redundant work and ensures your data is streamlined for R&D tax incentive claims. Follow this guide to connect, match, and sync your projects effortlessly. 
Benefits of the Integration

Step 1 - Access the Sessions Page
- Navigate to the Sessions Page in Synnch. 
 
- Here, you can view all previous sessions, check their statuses, and manage them. 
 
- To start a new session, click the Create New Session button. 
Step 2 - Set Up a New Session
- In the New Session setup, select a project from Synnch. 
 
- Choose Jira tickets using one of the following methods: 
 
 a. Jira Filters
 b. Projects
 c. JQL (Jira Query Language)

 Date Filters
 
- Once selections are made, proceed to the next step. 
Step 3 - Review Jira Tickets Summary
- The system will analyze your filters and generate a summary of the detected Jira items, including: 
- Tickets 
- Issues 
- Bugs 
- Epics 
2. Review the summary page to confirm the data is accurate.
Step 4 - Match Projects and Activities
- On the next page, you will see a list of all Synnch projects and their associated R&D activities. 
 
- Each project is listed as a header, with activities displayed below. 
- For each activity, click the Evaluate button to: 
-Match or unmatch the activities with the Jira items detected in Step 3.
-Select specific activities you want to evaluate further. 
Step 5 - Evaluate Matching Details
- For the activities you selected, navigate to their detailed evaluation pages. 
- Here, the system uses AI to: - -Automatically match Jira items to activities. - -Highlight mismatched items for manual review. 
- You can manually match or unmatch Jira items as needed. 
Step 6 - Generate a Summary
- Once matching is complete, the system generates a detailed summary for each activity based on its relationship with the Jira items. 
- This summary text is automatically created for all activities selected in Step 4. 
 
Step 7 - Sync Back to Synnch
- Click the Sync button to copy the generated summaries back to Synnch. 
- The synced data populates the respective projects and activities in Synnch, ready for use in substantiating your R&D claims. 
- This step eliminates the need for manual entry, saving time and ensuring consistency.
