Understanding the Weekly View in the Timesheet Module
The Weekly View in Synnch's Timesheet Module allows you to manage your R&D hours on a weekly basis, providing a clear overview of your activities for each week.
Here’s a step-by-step guide to using its functionalities:
Adding R&D Hours
Select Team Member: Choose the team member for whom you are adding R&D hours.
Add R&D Hours:
Click the “Add R&D Hours” button.
Select the Project from the dropdown menu.
Choose the Activity from the dropdown menu.
Enter the number of R&D hours, ensuring they correspond to the specific dates within the week.
Enter the Description of this activity. This description will apply to all dates within the week that have R&D hours.
Upload any supporting evidence. The evidence will be attached to all dates within the week that have R&D hours.
Press the “Submit” button.
Editing R&D Entries
Select an Entry:
Choose the project or activity in the row, then select a specific date in the column.
Click on the R&D hours cell to open the side panel.
2. Edit Details:
To edit a field, hover over the input field name and click “Edit”.
Modify the value and click “Save” below the field once done.
You can edit the following details:
R&D hours
R&D hours description
Evidence
BAU description
Deleting R&D Entries
Select an Entry:
Choose the project or activity in the row, then select a specific date in the column.
Click on the R&D hours cell to open the side panel.
2. Delete an Entry:
Press the “Delete Entry” button located at the bottom of the panel.
Viewing R&D Entries
To view an R&D time entry, select the project or activity in the row and the specific date in the column.
Click on the R&D hours cell to display all the details of that R&D time entry.
The Weekly View is designed to provide a clear and organized way to manage your R&D activities for each week, making it easier to track and update your time entries.
