If your wallet isn’t connecting to Synthetix, don’t worry, this is a common issue and usually easy to fix.
Common Causes
Wallet app or extension not installed.
Wallet is installed but not unlocked.
Using a browser or device that isn’t supported.
Network mismatch (wallet not set to Ethereum Mainnet).
Steps to Fix
Check your wallet is installed
For browser: make sure the Metamask, Coinbase Wallet, or other extension is added.
For hardware: make sure your Ledger or Trezor is plugged in and unlocked.
Unlock your wallet
Open the wallet app or extension.
Enter your password or PIN.
Refresh the page
Sometimes a quick refresh will trigger the connection popup.
Check your network
Open your wallet and make sure it’s set to Ethereum Mainnet.
Try another browser
Chrome or Brave usually work best.
Safari is often unsupported for wallet extensions.
If you are using your Mobile to view the platform try using using your wallet’s built-in browser to connect.
Still Not Working?
If you’ve tried all the above and your wallet still won’t connect:
Disconnect and reconnect your wallet.
Restart your browser or device.
