If you see an “Out of Gas” error, it means your transaction didn’t have enough resources to complete the transaction.
Common Causes
Not enough ETH in your wallet
You need ETH to pay gas fees on Ethereum Mainnet.
If your balance is too low, the transaction will fail.
Gas limit set too low
The transaction ran out of gas before it could finish.
This happens if the gas limit (not the gas price) was set incorrectly.
You have no ETH in your wallet
You will need to purchase some ETH to fund your transactions.
Steps to Fix
Check your ETH balance
Make sure you have a small amount of ETH in your wallet. If not, add more, we recommend keeping at least $10–20 worth for gas.
Resubmit the transaction with a higher gas limit
Most wallets (like Metamask) will suggest the right gas limit automatically.
Accept the suggested settings instead of lowering them.
Retry when the network is less busy
Gas fees are higher during peak times.
If you’re low on ETH, wait for fees to drop before retrying.
Still Not Working?
If you continue to see “Out of Gas” errors:
Double-check you’re on Ethereum Mainnet.
Try increasing gas limit by 20–30%.
If it still fails, contact support with the transaction hash so we can review it.
