Common Causes
Wallet locked or inactive.
Wrong network selected.
Hardware wallet not connected or app not open.
Conflicting browser extensions blocking the request.
Steps to Fix
Unlock your wallet
Open your wallet (e.g. Metamask) and enter your password.
Check the network
Make sure your wallet is set to Ethereum Mainnet.
Retry the request
Close the popup and try the action again.
If using a hardware wallet
Make sure your Ledger or Trezor is plugged in, unlocked, and the Ethereum app is open.
Disable conflicting extensions
Adblockers, privacy tools, or multiple wallet extensions may cause issues. Try turning them off temporarily.
