When are payments of my customers processed?

Stripe places a hold on a customer's credit card at checkout. This guarantees customers pay for their order. Delivery payments are fully processed when restaurants accept the order and a driver has been assigned. Pickup payments are fully processed when the order has been picked up. If your customer uses a payment method that does not support holds, the payment will be fully processed when the customer checks out.

When do I receive customer payments?

Instantly. You can also choose to accumulate payments and receive payouts on a weekly or monthly basis.

What happens if I reject an order?

If you reject an order your customer will be notified via SMS and receives a full refund. If your customer paid with a credit card the refund will be processed instantly. For other payment methods, it may take 2-10 days. There are no fees to refund a charge.

What happens if I cancel an order after accepting it?

If you cancel an order after accepting it your customer will be notified via SMS and receives a full refund. You will receive a refund for the food items, but not for the service, delivery, and transaction fees.

What happens if the driver doesn’t pick up or deliver the food?

Please complete this form to notify our team. We will get back to you as soon as possible. If your food was not picked up or delivered due to a driver error, you and your customer both receive a full refund.

If the customer requests an immediate (partial) refund, you can provide this by logging into the Stripe Dashboard.

My customer requested a (partial) refund. How can I issue this?

Simply log in to your Stripe Dashboard, click on "Payments", select the order and click on "Refund" in the top right corner.

If your customer paid with a credit card the refund will be processed instantly. For other payment methods, processing the refund takes 2-10 days. If the refund was related to a delivery issue, please complete this form to notify our team.
