Yes, our online ordering software really is free to use for restaurants. We do not charge any commission, setup fees, or subscription fees.
Similar to third-party apps, your customers pay a small service fee:
2% for dine-in orders
5% for pickup delivery orders
If your customer pays online, our payment partners (Stripe or Xendit) will charge you a transaction fee of 1-3.5% of the order value.
For delivery orders, our logistics partners like Foodpanda, Grab, Doordash and UberEats charge a fee. Please find an overview of these fees here.
You decide what you pay. By default, the transaction fee is charged to you (the restaurant), and the delivery + service fee is charged to your customer. This can be changed based on your guidance.
We generally recommend you use your cost savings to at least partially cover the delivery fee and service fee for your customers. That way, your customers don't pay more for ordering directly from you versus a third-party ordering app (eg. UberEats or Grab). It also incentivizes your customers to order directly from you.
