How should I set up my tablet?

If you receive orders via Deliverect or through a POS integration, you typically don't need any additional hardware to process orders. If you use Tablevibe as a standalone solution, you need an Android tablet or an iPad dedicated to Tablevibe with a screen size of 10.1" or more. More details here.

Setting up your Android tablet (2 mins)

Step 1: Install the Tablevibe app

Just in case you don't see the "Install App" notification, click on the three dots next to the URL bar and select "Install App".

Step 2: Keep your tablet screen on while charging

Important: To receive order notifications, the Tablevibe app must be open and visible on your tablet screen. The tablet itself should be plugged into power at all times.

  • Go to your tablet "Settings".

  • Go to the "Device Information" or "About Device" section.

  • Scroll down to "Build number".

  • Press several times until "Developer options" have been activated (around 7 times).

  • Exit this section and go back to "Settings".

  • You will see that there is a new section called "Developer options".

  • Go into this section. Enable the option "Stay awake" or “Screen always on when charging”.

Step 3: Turn up the volume

Finally, don't forget to turn up the volume on your tablet, so you can hear notifications for your new orders.

That's it, you're now ready to accept Tablevibe orders!

Setting up your iPad (2 mins)

Step 1: Install the Tablevibe app

Step 2: Keep your iPad screen on while charging

Important: To receive order notifications, the Tablevibe app must be open and visible on your tablet screen. The tablet itself should be plugged into power at all times.

  • Open the “Settings” app on your iPad.

  • Go to “Display & Brightness” then choose “Auto-Lock”.

  • Choose "Never".

Stop iPad screen sleeping and turning off

Step 3: Turn up the volume

Finally, don't forget to turn up the volume on your iPad, so you can hear notifications for your new orders.

That's it, you're now ready to accept Tablevibe orders!
