Give direct customers a better deal

Focus on set-and-forget strategies
Create a set-and-forget strategy so direct ordering becomes part of your marketing staple. For example, printing a QR code + call-to-action on your packaging is a more sustained effort versus temporarily adding flyers to delivery bags.
2. OFFLINE MARKETING
2.1 Table stickers
Print stickers with QR codes linking to your dine-in menu & feedback survey (if applicable). Put them on the corner of each of your tables.
2.2. Posters or banners at entrance/exit
An "Order here" or "Skip the line" banner at the entrance of your restaurant helps more customers to place their order. If you use our dine-in ordering, we recommend using your dine-in QR code. Alternatively, use your pick-up/delivery shop QR code.
2.3. Flyers in delivery bags & on-package marketing
This will help you convert third-party app users to direct customers. When you order new packaging, we recommend printing a direct ordering promotion on it.
2.4 Receipts
Adding the QR code and promotion on your receipt is an effective a free way to drive your direct sales or ask for feedback.
3. ONLINE MARKETING
Promote your restaurant's webshop using digital channels to reach a wider audience.

3.3 Email or SMS messages to your customer database
Send targeted messages to your existing customer database, reminding them to order from your webshop and promoting special offers or menu items. Please find an example here.
3.4 Add exclusive items to the direct ordering menu
Offer exclusive menu items that are only available through your own shop.
4. PRICING STRATEGY
With Tablevibe, you save 50-80% in fees. Pass on (part of) your cost savings to your customers to make sure people get a better deal when they order direct.
4.1 Use discounts for differential pricing
Some restaurants raise their prices on third-party apps. If that applies to you, we suggest using our discount function (kitchen.tablevibe.co/discounts) to offer better prices to customers who order direct.
4.2 Default promotion and delivery fee settings
We recommend adding the following fee settings (marked as "essential") in your Tablevibe dashboard (kitchen.tablevibe.co > Settings > Fees).
To further boost sales, consider offering a loyalty cashback or promotion. You can add a minimum order value or apply to first-time customers only if needed.
In all cases, place a few test orders to ensure direct customers get a better deal when they order directly from you.
