What are Tablevibe Marketing Campaigns?

Marketing Campaigns consist of a Referral Program and SMS Campaigns.

The Referral Program rewards your customers for sharing your shop with others. SMS Campaigns send relevant messages to segments of your customer base based on purchase behaviour.

These services are bundled as "Marketing Campaigns" and they are an optional add-on in our ordering system. A subscription fee applies. To add Marketing Campaigns to your account, contact your account manager or email hello@tablevibe.co.


1. Referral Program

1.1 How does the Referral Program work?

After placing an order on your shop, your customers see a referral link which they can share with their friends and family on social media, messaging apps or via email.

The inviter (customer who placed an order) shares a referral link with the invitee. When the invitee places their first order, they both get a reward.

1.2 How do I set up the Referral Program?

Visit kitchen.tablevibe.co > Marketing > Referrals. Switch on the Referral Program, add your referral rewards and click on "Save". Your Referral Program is now turned on. No further action is required.

1.3 What should I keep in mind?

  • Rewards are required: The referral program requires a reward. This can be a % (eg. 25%) of fixed amount (eg. $10) discount. If you already offer a discount to first-time customers, we recommend extending it to the referral program.

  • No free deliveries: Free deliveries cannot be offered as a reward.

  • Referral rewards take priority over first-time customer promotions: If you use referral rewards in combination with first-time customer promotions, invitees will see the referral reward on your shop's front page. At checkout however, they can see all available promotions.

  • Rewards can be awarded multiple times, but don't stack: Inviters will receive a reward for each referral, but rewards don't stack. For example, if someone refers two people and receives a 10% discount for each referral, they get 10% off on two separate orders, not 20% off on a single order.

  • Inviter receives reward after invitee places an order: The reward becomes available to the inviter when the invitee paid for their order.


2. SMS Campaigns

2.1 How do SMS Campaigns work?

SMS campaigns segment your customer database and send highly targeted messages to your audience based on past purchase behaviour. With the right message and discount, 5-10% of people who receive an SMS will place an order with you. This is far more than traditional 1.4% email marketing click rates (source).

2.2 How do I set up SMS Campaigns?

Visit kitchen.tablevibe.co to create a Customer Segment and set up a Campaign containing the SMS message.

To create a Customer Segment, visit kitchen.tablevibe.co > Customers > Segments > + New Customer Segment. Create multiple relevant segments if needed. Click on Save.

To send SMS messages, visit kitchen.tablevibe.co > Marketing > Campaigns. Enter the relevant details. Your SMS message should always contain the promotion, the promo code, a call to action and your Shop URL (eg. https://arthurspizza.tablevibe.co). Click on Save.

2.3. Multi Brand Campaigns

SMS messages are sent on a brand level. If for example a customer is eligible to receive a message from more than 1 brand, it will receive an update from the brand that triggered the campaign first. The customer will only receive a message from the next succeeding brands' campaign if the customer has not received a message from your business in the last 30 days.

2.4. Best practices

Your SMS message should contain maximum 160 characters (check SMS length calculator) and should always contain the promotion, the promo code, a call to action and your Shop URL. For example:

For the best conversions rates, we recommend scheduling SMS messages 1-2 hours prior to your peak hours and offering at least 10% off. Eg. If Friday 6-8pm is your peak time, send your message at 5pm. You can also send SMS messages to boost orders during off-peak hours. While still valuable, your conversion rates will likely be lower.
