I have a new router/modem. How do I connect it to tado°?

First, set up your router/modem and make sure it is connected to the internet.

For tado° heating devices

To connect the Internet Bridge to your new router or modem, follow these steps:

Plug the Ethernet cable coming from the Internet Bridge into an available Ethernet port in your router/modem.
Plug the USB power cable coming from the Internet Bridge into an available USB port in your router/modem.

If there are no available USB ports, use the provided adapter or any regular 5V USB power adapter to power the Internet Bridge via a power socket.

Once your Internet Bridge is successfully connected, your other tado° devices will automatically connect to the Internet Bridge.

For the tado° Smart AC control

The tadoº Smart AC Control will connect directly to your Wi-Fi.

Make sure that WLAN is activated on your new router/modem. To do so, refer to the router/modem’s user manual, if necessary.
