If you're enrolled in the Biology or Chemistry Ultimate Guide, you can ask your human tutor a question any time on any page inside your course using the question asking feature.

Your tutor will respond within 24 hours.

Here are the steps to ask your tutor a question:

Step 1: Scroll down to the AI Tutor Bot section on any page inside your course—it is always at the bottom of each page.

Step 2: Start by asking the AI Tutor Bot your question—it will respond immediately (compared to our human tutors who may take up to 24 hrs to respond).

The Tailored Tutors AI Tutor Bot is not like any other AI Bot (and no, it's not just ChatGPT). Our AI Tutor Bot is specifically trained on a decade worth of Tailored Tutors IP protected expert tutor answers to 1000's of previous TT student questions, as well as individual exam board specifications & past papers, and all of the Tailored Tutors methodology & exam training advice (including the TT Revision Method).

It is exam board specific, and integrated with your course—and it can most likely answer your question in depth, and cross link you to other relevant resources instantly.

Step 3: If the AI Tutor Bot doesn't answer your question in enough detail, you can connect with one of our human tutors by asking a question!

Click the "Still Stuck? Ask A Human Tutor" button.

Type out your question in the question box on the page. The question box will not accept special characters—ensure you use alphanumeric characters and basic punctuation only.

Note: Make sure you ask your question on the relevant topic page—this will speed things up and make it easier for your tutor to give you specific information pertaining to your question.

Likewise, if you have a question about a specific exam question or past paper, make sure to ask your question on the relevant page.

Step 4: Click "Post Question".

Note: When you click "Post Question", your question will disappear.

Don't worry!

Your tutor will see your question behind the scenes, and it will reappear once they have responded—usually within 24hrs.

TIP: In the meantime, scroll further down to check out the other questions that have been responded to on that page in the Academy—there's a good chance another student has had the same question and that one of our tutors provided them a response that could help you get unstuck too.

Tutors don't respond to email, text or online chat!

The only way for students to connect directly with their tutor is through the question asking feature on each page inside the course.

The chat is for customer service related concerns (like Membership questions, billing, etc.)—if you contact our customer service team with content or exam related questions, or asking for revision advice, they won't be able to give you the answer (because they simply don't know those kinds of things—and neither does the customer service chat bot)!

For all A Level course & exam related questions (including revision advice), please ask the AI Tutor Bot, or contact your tutor directly using the question asking feature inside your course.

The customer service chat bubble on the bottom right hand side of your screen is NOT a tutor bot.

The customer service chat bubble on the bottom right hand side of your screen is only trained on customer service related information—including Memberships, subscriptions, pricing, what's included in your course, etc. It cannot answer subject content related questions, or help you with exam training—because it is explicitly not trained on that data.

Any information it might provide you about your subject content, exam related questions, quiz information, etc. would be wholly inaccurate, because it hasn't been trained on that info.

To ensure you are always receiving exam board specific A Level content & exam training information, direct your queries to the AI Tutor Bot at the bottom of every page inside your course, or use the "Still Stuck? Ask A Human Tutor" button to connect directly with a human tutor (who will respond in 24 hours or less).

If you are a Flip Membership student—your course does not include the AI Tutor Bot, or access to the human tutors. For subject content or exam training questions, you'll need to connect with your actual teacher at your school.
