While most of your orders will be created individually, so they detail exactly what you are moving, where it picks up and where it delivers, and what if you do a repeated movement for a customer, for example, perhaps you have a customer that contracts you to make the same move every week on a specific day. Tailwind can take care of creating and scheduling that order for you.

When you are looking for an easy way to “Schedule an order.”

Create the order as a new one with all details listed as necessary and then once the order is created – Open it and use the “more” button in the top right-hand corner of the order:

When you open the “More” button, you will then select “Copy,” which will open a dialogue box that will allow you to schedule this order.

You can set the next pick up and deliver dates for the first order to be created, and then in the “How often” field, you can choose how often to schedule this order; your choices are:

  • Just once

  • Daily

  • Weekly

  • Bi-weekly

  • Monthly

  • Quarterly

  • Yearly

Once you choose how often, that will open the ability to schedule the total number of copies, so if you choose weekly, for example, and you want to create 52 weekly orders, you would select Weekly in the How often and 52 in the Total # of copies. If you're going to schedule one order per month for one year, you will choose Monthly and 12 in the Total # of documents.

The software will take care of this for you and create the orders as set up, and those orders will populate on your Order screen list in the purple “Unassigned” colour waiting for you to move them.
