What happens to Take Command platform access and services after cancellation?
When you cancel your Take Command plan, there are certain important details to consider regarding platform access, continuation of services, and documentation retrieval.
Key Details for Cancellation and Access
Immediate vs Month-End Access Termination
If the cancellation is initiated directly through the Take Command platform, access to the portal is lost immediately upon cancellation. Plan carefully to perform the cancellation at the right time to avoid losing access earlier than planned.
For cancellations where a specific date (e.g., end of the month) is set, users and their employees will retain full access to the platform and its services until the last day of the selected cancellation month. After this date, access will be fully terminated.
Employee Access
Employees will have access to the platform until the specified cancellation date. Services will remain active for employees during this period. After this, services will also be terminated for them.
Document and Report Retrieval Guidelines
All users are strongly advised to download any necessary reports, including reimbursement statements and other documents, before the cancellation date as access to the platform will no longer be available afterward.
Even if access is terminated, critical end-of-year documentation required for tax purposes (e.g., tax reporting forms) will be sent to you by Take Command after the cancellation is complete. This ensures compliance with tax reporting obligations.
Service Charges Post-Cancellation
Following cancellation, no further charges for the plan will be incurred. If you receive any enrollment or reminder emails after cancellation, these can be safely disregarded as mass communications unrelated to billing.
Planning for Cancellation
To ensure a smooth transition:
Determine the best time to initiate the cancellation based on your access and reporting needs.
Allocate sufficient time to download all necessary reports and documents before the cancellation date.
Keep an eye out for your end-of-year documentation after the plan concludes.
