HRA Renewal for ALE Employers

Applicable Large Employers (ALEs) - Renewal

Written by Billy Harper

Renewing Your HRA Plan

When HRA renewal becomes available, you'll see a renewal banner on your dashboard. The renewal process allows you to review and confirm your upcoming HRA plan before the new plan year begins.

Submit your employee census

To prepare your upcoming HRA plan, you'll need to provide an updated employee census.

Once your census has been submitted, our team will review your employee roster and prepare your renewal design.

During this stage, you may see a banner like:

Once complete, we'll contact you to review your 2027 allowances.

Review Your Design

Once your renewal design is ready, you'll receive a notification to review your upcoming plan.

Select the renewal banner to review:

  • Eligibility classes

  • Allowance amounts

  • Your upcoming HRA structure

Note: What can I change? During ALE renewal, your plan design is prepared by Take Command.

You can:
✅ Review your upcoming plan
✅ Confirm your HRA renewal

You cannot:
❌ Edit allowance amounts
❌ Add new classes
❌ Delete classes

If you need updates made to your renewal design, contact a Account Manger or reach out Support Team.

Confirm Your HRA

Once you've reviewed your plan:

  1. Select Confirm My HRA

  2. Review the confirmation message

  3. Confirm your renewal

After confirmation, your renewal is complete and your upcoming HRA plan is finalized.

After Renewal

View your upcoming plan

You can review your upcoming plan year information by navigating to:

Benefits → Eligibility Classes

You'll also see next-year class assignments within your People table.

Employee assignments

If an eligibility class remains in the upcoming plan year, employees will automatically remain assigned to that class for the next year.

For example: if an employee is in the "Full-Time" class this year and that class continues into the upcoming plan year, they'll automatically stay in the "Full-Time" class — no action needed.

New columns showing next-year enrollment and class information will become available within the People table after renewal is complete.
