If you are an employee that needs to Renew, Change, Cancel, or Replace your current plan:
Renewing your plan
During Open Enrollment (November 1–December 15), if your current plan is still offered, you can log into the Take Command platform and select it again.
If you're renewing directly through the carrier instead of through Take Command, upload your proof of coverage to your Take Command portal.
If your employer offers Autopay and you want to keep it, you must renew through the Take Command platform — not directly with the carrier.
Changing your plan during Open Enrollment
If you already shopped for a plan through Take Command, you can't reshop through the Take Command platform.
You can still buy a different plan directly through the marketplace, but if you do:
1) You'll need to cancel your Take Command plan by calling the carrier directly.
2) Advise Take Command that you cancelled and shopped elsewhere.
3) Upload proof of your new coverage through your Take Command portal to set up reimbursements.
Also note: If you shop on the marketplace instead of through Take Command, you'll lose access to Autopay, even if your employer normally offers it.
Changing your plan at any other time
Outside of Open Enrollment, you can only change your plan if you have a Qualifying Life Event (QLE). Without a QLE, changes aren't allowed. You can find more on what counts as a QLE here: healthcare.gov/glossary/qualifying-life-event
Cancelling your plan
You can cancel your plan at any time, but please let Take Command know if you do. Keep in mind that cancelling outside of Open Enrollment or a Qualifying Life Event. (QLE) means you won't be able to shop for a new plan until one of those windows opens.
Replacing your current coverage
You can only replace your current coverage during Open Enrollment or with a Qualifying Life Event. Outside of those windows, replacement isn't possible.
If you feel you have a special circumstance, please reach out to Care at 1-855-824-4727.
