Requirements and Processes for Uploading Proof of Coverage (POC) and Completing Enrollment
Overview of Enrollment Requirements
To complete your enrollment with Take Command, you must upload Proof of Coverage (POC) after purchasing an insurance plan. While there is no deadline for uploading POC, it is a mandatory step to finalize onboarding and enable reimbursements. Without POC, autopay may be canceled, and reimbursements will not be processed. A screenshot showing the plan name, premium, effective date, and covered individuals is typically sufficient as proof.
Proof of Coverage Guidelines
When to Upload POC: You can upload POC after purchasing a plan and even after switching to a new plan. This flexibility allows you to wait until you have the proper documents.
Impact of Missing POC: If POC is not uploaded, reimbursements will not be processed, and autopay may be deactivated.
Updating Plans and Submitting New POC
If you change your health insurance plan, you can update your details and upload new POC in the member portal. Follow these steps:
Log into your member portal and navigate to the Health Insurance section.
Click Edit in the top right corner.
Enter your new plan details, including the carrier, premium amount, and effective dates.
Upload your new POC by dragging and dropping the file or browsing to upload.
Indicate the cancellation date of your previous plan to avoid reimbursement overlaps.
Leave a note indicating this is your updated plan for faster compliance review.
Click Continue to submit for compliance review. You will receive an email once the document is approved or if additional information is needed.
Annual Enrollment and Portal Access
To access certain features in the portal, such as entering current-year dates or uploading POC, you must first complete your annual enrollment. If your dashboard only shows “Welcome” highlighted and other steps are greyed out, it indicates that annual enrollment is incomplete. Complete this process in the portal to unlock these features.
Deadlines and Compliance
While there is no strict deadline for uploading POC, it is essential to complete this step promptly to avoid delays in reimbursements and disruptions to autopay. Ensure that your POC is accurate and includes all required details to facilitate a smooth compliance review. By following these guidelines, you can ensure a seamless enrollment process and maintain uninterrupted access to your benefits.
