Yes, Medicare is a qualifying health insurance plan for employees to be reimbursed through QSEHRA. 

Employees must have Part A and B or Part C to qualify for participation. As long as you have that, then all parts of Medicare including Medi-gap coverage are reimbursable for qualified employees and their dependents.

Onboarding Steps

To ensure a smooth onboarding process, please follow the steps outlined below:

  1. Upload Proof of Coverage

    • During the onboarding process, select the option to upload "proof of coverage."

  2. Select Medicare Option

    • After uploading proof of coverage, you will be presented with multiple upload options.

    • Choose the Medicare option and upload your red, white, and blue Medicare card, which must display either Part A and B or Part C.

  3. Complete Onboarding Steps

    • Follow the remaining steps to complete your onboarding.

  4. Add Monthly Premium

    • Navigate to your dashboard page.

    • Click the "Add Monthly Premium" button.

    • Upload your Medicare card again and input the premium amount.

  5. Upload Supplemental Insurance Information (if applicable)

    • If you have supplemental insurance and possess a letter from the Social Security Administration detailing all your Medicare supplemental premiums, you can upload this document instead.
