Employees can find and compare health insurance plans in HRA Hub by using recommended plans, filters, sorting tools, and plan comparison features to identify coverage that best fits their doctors, prescriptions, budget, and reimbursement allowance.
We have an Enrollment team ready and available to assist you in selecting a plan. Please schedule a time with them here, on our Enrollment Team Call Calendar.

What are Recommended Plans?
Recommended Plans are health plans that match the doctors, hospitals, and prescriptions you entered during shopping.
These plans appear first to help you identify options that may fit your healthcare needs.
If no plans match all your preferences:
Plans will still be displayed
Your filters will remain applied
You can select Clear All Filters to view additional options
Recommended Plans are intended to simplify shopping but are not the only plans available.
The ‘Recommended plans’ section allows you to view recommendations based on your preferred doctor(s), hospital(s), and prescription(s) pre-selections. This provides you with only plans that meet your specific needs.
These are displayed on the first page for your convenience. To explore additional options, simply scroll down and click "Next" to view more plans.
If no plans match all of the entered preferences, the system will automatically keep the filters and display a blue toaster:
*You can ‘clear all' filters to view all plans based on your zip code and county.
How do I filter plans?
You can use filters to narrow your plan options.
Available filters include:
Doctor with location: The Doctor Search tool is used to help determine if your selected doctor or specialist is in or out off network. Keeping your favorite doctors "in network" is critical to saving money. If you try to see a doctor that is out of network, your health plan won't help very much or may not pay anything at all.
Plan type
EPO (Exclusive Provider Organization): Hybrid of PPO and HMO. Enjoy lower premiums compared to PPO plans, and a referral is not required to see a specialist.
HMO (Health Maintenance Organization): Lower monthly premiums are offered, but you must get a referral from your Primary Care Provider (PCP) before seeing a specialist.
PPO: Most flexible, yet most expensive network type. Do not need a referral to see a specialist. Option to see doctor outside preferred network.
Carrier: based on ZIP Code searched and carriers available in the selected area.
Metal tier:
Platinum: covers 90% on average of your medical costs; you pay 10%
Gold: covers 80% on average of your medical costs; you pay 20%
Silver: covers 70% on average of your medical costs; you pay 30%
Bronze: covers 60% on average of your medical costs; you pay 40%
Extended Bronze: Catastrophic policies pay after you have reached a very high deductible ($8,700 in 2022). Extended Bronze plans must also cover the first three primary care visits and preventive care for free, even if you have not yet met your deductible.
HSA Eligible: This is a tax-advantaged account that allows you to put tax-deferred dollars into an account. At age 65, you may make eligible withdrawals from the account tax-free.
Enrollment Types:
Easy Enroll: Easy Enroll is a streamlined process where Take Command manages the entire enrollment process on your behalf.
Overview: Take Command submits your application to the insurance carrier, sparing you from the need to do it manually. While banking details are not collected during enrollment, you need to arrange payments like autopay directly with your insurer afterward.
Post Enrollment: If using Easy Enroll, no documents need to be uploaded or coverage confirmed within the HRA portal unless additional reimbursements (e.g., dental or vision) are added later.
Availability: Easy Enroll may sometimes not be available due to plan or region-specific restrictions, such as state marketplaces requiring direct enrollment.
Self Enroll: This option requires you to complete the application process directly with the carrier or state exchange.
Overview: After selecting your plan, enroll manually and upload proof of coverage to the Take Command portal for reimbursements.
Key Difference: Unlike Easy Enroll, you handle all document submissions and payment setups independently, though guidance can be requested from Take Command.
