Tips to completing your Digital Check
Use the QR code to switch to mobile, as your mobile camera is clearer and it's easier to take an image of your document. You will not need to log in or download anything.
Ensure the room is well lit, natural light is best. Make sure that the light is not causing a glare on the document.
Make sure the entire document is visible on the screen, do not cover up any parts with your fingers.
Make sure the document image is not blurry.
The name on your passport and driving licence must match exactly, if they do not, then you must use the manual path.
Step by Step Process
Start by hitting the 'Start Digitial Identity Verification' button.
Select 'Get Started', then hit 'Continue'.
We recommend selecting the 'Use smartphone' option, as it's easier to take clearer pictures of your documents. It's easy to use the QR code and you do not need to log in.
Select the device method and then follow the steps on the screen to scan your UK or Irish passport and then your face. Please ensure the room is well lit and your passport is not cut off.
Once you've uploaded your UK/Irish passport and scanned your face successfully, your Right to Work check is complete and your employer will be notified.
If you were unable to upload your UK/Irish passport and face scan, you'll need to reach out to your employer. You might need a new Right to Work check created or to do a face to face verificiation.
