You can track progress of an applicant's DBS check by going to the 'View Check Status' platform page, clicking on 'Actions' on the right of the applicant dash, and clicking 'View Check Summary'.
Once you've opened up the check summary, click on the blue link in the 'Application form Reference - ENumber'. This will take you directly to the DBS Tracking service where you will see the stage of the DBS application.
If the application has been in the Stage 4 Police check for more than 60 days, we will automatically send an escalation. We are not allowed to send an escalation before this.
If the applicant is experiencing hardship due to a pending DBS application, they can call the DBS directly at 03000 200 190 referencing their ENumber.
