Whether you are wanting build extraordinary campaigns and review engagement responses, or simply view and send emails through Talisman - you will need to link up your emails.

Setting up a BCC rule in Exchange (Office365)

The first step is to get your unique Bcc email. If you do not have this from your onboarding, reach out to our Support Team via the Support Live Chat.

  • Login as an Administrator

  • Search for "Mail Flow"

  • Click on Rules

  • Click the + Icon and select “Create a new Rule” from the drop-down menu

Pick the Rule “Apply to all messages as shown on the 1st red arrow above

  • From the 2nd red arrow drop-down choose “Bcc the message to your unique email.

  • Click on Select People (the 3rd red arrow) and choose your email account

  • Click on Save

Setting up a Bcc Rule/Routing (Gmail)

Prerequisites
● Admin Access: Only Google Workspace administrators can set up routing and BCC
rules for users.
● Google Workspace Account: Ensure that you're
logged into your Google Workspace Admin Console at admin.google.com.


Step 1: Access Routing Settings in Google Workspace Admin Console
1. Sign in to Google Admin Console: Go to admin.google.com and log in with your
admin credentials.
2. Go to Apps: From the Admin Console homepage, click on Apps.

3. Select Google Workspace: Under the Apps menu, choose Google Workspace.
4. Navigate to Gmail: In the list of Google Workspace apps, click Gmail.
5. Settings for Gmail: Under Gmail settings, select Routing.


Step 2: Configure the Routing Rule
1. Add a New Setting: In the Routing section, scroll down and click Configure to
create a new rule.
2. Enter a Description: Name your rule (e.g., "Automatic BCC for Sent Emails").


Step 3: Set Up the Conditions for the BCC Rule

1. Apply to Messages: Define whether the rule should apply to Inbound, Outbound,
or Internal - Sending / Receiving messages.

  • For BCC on sent emails, select Outbound.
    2. Define Conditions (Optional): You can add conditions to narrow down which emails
    get BCC’d. For example:

  • Account Types: Apply the rule to specific groups or users.

  • Envelope Recipient or Sender: Define specific email addresses if needed.


    Step 4: Set Up the BCC Address
    1. Add BCC Recipient: In the Recipients section, choose Add more recipients.
    2. Enter the Email Address: Type in the email address to which you want all outbound
    emails to be BCC’d. Talisman can provide your systems BCC email address upon request.

    3. Save and Review: Click Save to apply the rule.


    Step 5: Save and Apply the Rule
    1. Review Settings: Confirm that your BCC rule details are correct.
    2. Save the Routing Rule: Once you’re done, click Save at the bottom of the settings
    page.
    3. Test the Rule: Have a user send an email to verify that the BCC address is receiving
    a copy of the sent messages.
