How do I skip translation?

If I am multi-lingual, can I choose to skip translation in my spoken languages?

If you'd like to compose your own message in your native/home language and skip our translation, please follow the steps below:

**Note: the 'skip translation' button will only be available when you have selected to send the message to contacts who all have been assigned the language for which you are able to skip translation.

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Click on your name in the bottom left and select 'Settings.'

Step 2: Click on 'Personal Information.'

Step 3: select your native/second language from the drop-down menu (Spanish is just an example) and click 'Save.'

Step 4: Check the 'Skip translation' box in either the 'Compose message' screen, or in the conversation with an individual recipient, and type a message in your native/second language. Your message won't get translated by our tool.

**Note: The 'Skip translation' option will only be available when recipients are selected who share your second language. For example, if you change your second language to Vietnamese, you will only be able to skip translation when one or more Vietnamese speaking recipients are selected.
