If you speak a second language and use it to communicate with families, you can add it into your TalkingPoints profile.

Please remember: TalkingPoints is currently designed to support message translation from English to the family’s home language. With that said, messages sent in other languages besides English will not be translated only if they are set as your second language and in communication with a family also set to that language. For example, if your second language is set to Korean, messages from families written to you in Korean will not be translated, and vice versa.

Add a second language by following these steps.

On web:

Step 1: Click on your name in the bottom left corner.

Step 2: Click on 'Settings'.

Step 3: Choose your second language from the drop down menu. *Note: Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, & Vietnamese are listed first as they are our most common languages.

Step 4: Click 'Save'.

On mobile:

Step 1: Select the 'Profile' tab at the bottom of the screen.

Step 2: Click the pencil icon in the top right corner of the screen.

Step 3: Choose your second language from the drop down menu.

Step 4: Click 'Save'.
