What does the Office Rnd Integration with Tally Workspace do?
The Tally Workspace integration with Office Rnd currently has the following functionality. You will still receive all of the same email reminders about bookings but you will no longer need to accept or reject bookings manually.
1. Checks live availability of meeting rooms
Checks availability of your live Office RnD calendar and only allows users to book if the requested time slot is available. As shown below if a space is booked on your Office Rnd calendar it will not be available to bookings for Tally Workspace users.
2. Bookings & cancellations automatically updated in OfficeRnD
If available and can be booked - the booking is automatically accepted on Tally Workspace and then scheduled directly into your OfficeRnD calendar.
Bookings are scheduled into the calendar under the name Tally with the booker's name in the booking description.
The Tally Workspace user receives an email confirmation to confirm it’s been accepted and it appears in their account as usual.
If it’s then cancelled on TallyWorkspace - it’s also removed from the OfficeRnD calendar.
Note - That if a booking is cancelled on Office Rnd this will need to be manually updated in the Tally Workspace platform. This can be done by logging into your venue account or pressing the "cancel" button in the booking email.
How will bookings appear in our Office RND calendar?
All bookings made via Tally will appear under the name “Tally” in your Office RND calendar. However, all booking details can be found on our confirmation emails.
For every auto-approved booking, you’ll receive a confirmation email from us containing all relevant information, including dates, times, and pricing.
Does this change how we get paid?
No - our payment process remains exactly the same.
You’ll continue to be paid monthly under our self-billing agreement. Each month, we’ll invoice and pay you as usual, and your invoice will include a full breakdown of all bookings from the previous month and the corresponding amounts.
In addition, you’ll receive an email from us each time a booking is made, with a breakdown of that individual booking.
Why does the booking appear as “free” in our Office RND calendar?
Bookings may appear as “free” in your Office RND calendar because we’re unable to sync payment values directly into the calendar system.
This does not affect your earnings. You’ll still receive:
A confirmation email for every booking with full pricing breakdown.
A monthly invoice showing a complete breakdown of all bookings and amounts due for the previous month.
