Create new OfficeRnd Application
1. Find the Tally Workspace application within Office RnD
In Office RnD go to Settings > Developer Tools > Add Application
Enter ‘Tally ’ as the name and select the following permissions from the API v2 dropdown - you can use the search to find these, just make sure to check the box on the left of each before saving (click the ‘Update’ on the modal).

This allows us to see the meeting rooms associated with your building so they can be automatically synced with our platform etc.
flex.space.bookings.read
This allows us to see existing bookings at your building so that only available slots are displayed to users.
flex.space.bookings.create
This allows us to create bookings that will go directly in to your OfifceRnd calendar.
flex.space.bookings.cancel
This allows us to cancel bookings and mark them as cancelled in your OfficeRnd calendar.
Once all four have been checked, click the ‘Add’ button to save and you should see these added to your application like so.
Click the cog icon next to ‘Tally’ and you will see the Client ID and Client Secret. These will need to be entered onto the Tally Workspace platform (see below)..
Integrating with Tally Workspace
Log in to your Tally Workspace account, click ‘Edit’ on the building you are integrating, and then the ‘Integrations’ tab to bring up your OfficeRnd details. Copy and paste your new Client ID and Client Secret in to the form (replacing the existing ones).
The Company ID and OfficeRnd admin site name fields should already be populated - you can leave these values as they are, and just click the ‘Active > Update’ button once you have updated the Client ID and Secret.
You should then see a success message to confirm the integration was updated - if you hit an error let us know and we can take a look!

What do I need to set up the integration with Office Rnd?
No technical experience is required to set up the Tally Workspace integration with Office Rnd. You will require admin access to both your venue's Tally Workspace account as well as your Office Rnd account.

2. Create a company for Tally Workspace to create bookings
In Office RnD go to Operations > Companies > Add Company to bring up the modal below.
Add a name (we recommend Tally Workspace so you know they’re Tally Workspace bookings), an email address, and select a start date (today) and Location from the dropdown.
Click ‘Add’ to save and be taken to the company dashboard. You can also find this page via Operations > Companies and selecting your building.
Once inside your company/building, the URL in the browser provides the Admin site name and the Tally Workspace Company ID which you will also need to enter on the Tally Workspace platform.
Integrating with Tally Workspace
Enter Office information into your Tally Workspace account
Sign in to your Tally Workspace venue account and click to Edit the building you are integrating, and navigate to the ‘Integrations’ tab.
Here you can enter the Client ID, Client Secret, Admin site name and Company ID from your OfficeRnd account.
Click ‘Authenticate’ and you should see a success message to confirm the integration is setup. If you hit an error here please get in touch and we can assist you.
Sync Tally spaces with Office RnD spaces
Once integrated you can then match up each meeting room space you have with the corresponding one on Office Rnd. Click to ‘Edit’ the building again and select the Spaces tab to view your spaces.
Navigate to the Coworking Spaces section and select the meeting room that you want to sync with OfficeRnd (click on the link to ‘Edit >’)
This will bring up a form for this space where you will see a dropdown for Auto Approval for Meeting Rooms - within this dropdown you can select from the spaces set up already on OfficeRnd.
Once saved Tally Workspace will then be able to check availability and make bookings for this specific space.
We will let you know once we have placed some test bookings and you can check these are appearing in OfficeRnd in your Company dashboard (Operations > Companies > Select Company > Bookings).
The bookings will have a label for ‘Tally Workspace Integration’ as per the screenshot below.
