For free trials, you will be charged on the seventh day if you don’t cancel your subscription before then. 

Depending on the time of day that you sign up and your bank, fees may be deducted slightly earlier or later. To be safe, set yourself a reminder to cancel your trial on the sixth day at least 24 hours before your trial ends if you’re not looking to begin your subscription. 

After this, you will be charged as per your subscription: either monthly, quarterly or yearly. Under your subscription in Google Play, you will be able to check up on when you will be billed next.
