If you're a stickler for perfection and need to count every single calorie that you put into your body – you're not alone. That's why we've given you the ability to break your custom, non-meal-plan meals down into all of their pieces for your diary. This allows you to compile your own ingredients and get your counts just right.
To add a custom ingredient:
o pop down to the meal section in your diary
o tap '+ Add Item'
o tap the 'Custom Meal' button, and add your first ingredient, e.g. 100g of turkey.
The ingredients you add will pop up next time, so you never have to enter the same one twice.
o tap 'Next'
o review your macro balance with our visual diagram
o confirm your ingredient by tapping 'Add food'.
o you'll now see the ingredient in your diary. Continue to add ingredients until you've got everything for your meal.
Another way that you can use this feature is for additional ingredients to meal plan recipes. e.g. If there's a protein shake recommended for your afternoon snack, and you want to add a sneaky banana, you can use these instructions to do that too!
