πŸ” Dot phrases

Dot phrases allow you to add words or sentences that you frequently use in your medical notes and have quick access to them in Tandem.

Add phrases

Go to Settings > Phrase Library.

1. Click the "Add New Phrase" button.

2. Write or copy a name for your phrase, and then specify what the phrase should be. This will be used by Tandem when you insert the phrase into the medical note.

3. Click the "Add Phrase" button.

β“˜ You can add as many phrases as you want, and all the phrases you enter are personal to your login.

Using phrases

1. Place your cursor in a text field in your medical note.

2. Type a semicolon ( ; ). A box will appear where you can search or browse your entered phrases..

3. Search for your phrase. You can either search by the phrase name or by any content within the phrase you entered. You can navigate through the search results using the ↑ (up) and ↓ (down) arrows on your keyboard, or by using the tab button.

4. Press the [enter] key to insert the selected phrase into the chosen text field.

Edit or remove phrases

For each phrase, there is a button with three dots ( ...). Press it to choose whether to edit the phrase or remove it from Tandem.
