1. Make sure you’re using Tandem on your computer
To transfer to EMIS, you need to run Tandem as a program on your computer. If you already have Tandem installed, you should be able to find it either on your desktop or among your installed programs. It looks like this:

2. Prepare for transfer
Navigate to the note you wish to transfer from Tandem to EMIS. Then, open the EMIS window for the relevant patient and ensure that the consultation field is empty.
3. Press the transfer button
Press the “Transfer to EMIS” button in Tandem, and the note is transferred automatically into the EMIS healthcare record.
