VNN Integration

Integrate Each Team with VNN in Tandem

Each team must be integrated individually with VNN to ensure events sync correctly. Follow these steps:


Step 1: Create Your Teams in Tandem

  1. In Tandem, go to My Organization → Groups.

  2. Create all of your teams here before connecting them to VNN.


Step 2: Get the iCal Feed from VNN

  1. Log in to your VNN site.

  2. Navigate to the season and select the team you want to integrate.

  3. Click the View All Events button on the right.

  4. On the next page, find the Subscribe button.

  5. Right-click the Subscribe link and choose Copy Link Address (or Copy Link Location, depending on your browser).


Step 3: Add the VNN Feed to Tandem

  1. In Tandem, go to My Organization → Groups.

  2. Find your group and click the edit (✏️) icon.

  3. In the VNN Subscription → iCal URL field, paste the copied URL.

  4. Select yourself or your AD as the Manager.

  5. Click Modify.

Note: The selected person will receive notifications if there are locations in the VNN feed that don’t match locations in Tandem (either in Other Locations or your facilities list).


Step 3: Verify Locations

  • If a location appears in the VNN feed but is not in Tandem, you must first add it to Other Locations.

  • Otherwise, the event will display the location as UNKNOWN in Tandem.

If you have additional groups, repeat this process for each one.


Result:
Once completed, your team’s events from VNN will sync to Tandem, and notifications will alert you to any unmatched locations.
