Step 1: Create Your Teams in Tandem
In Tandem, go to My Organization → Groups.
Create all of your teams here before connecting them to Blackbaud.
Step 2: Generate the iCal Feed in Blackbaud
Log in to myschoolapp.
In your persona module (e.g., Faculty, Parent, Friend), click Calendar.
Click the WebCal Feed icon.
To pull the individual feed filters (for example, Athletics):
Expand the Individual Filter Feeds section.
Right-click the blue calendar link.
Select Copy Link Address.
Step 3: Add the Blackbaud Feed to Tandem
In Tandem, go to My Organization → Groups.
Find your school and click the edit (✏️) icon.
In the Blackbaud Subscription → iCal URL field, paste the copied URL.
Select yourself or your AD as the Manager.
Click Modify.
Step 4: Set Up Group Mapping
On the school details page, click Blackbaud → Match Teams.
Map your groups to the correct teams associated with the school.
You can only map groups linked to the school you’re currently configuring.
If you have additional schools, repeat this process for each one.
✅ Result:
Your Blackbaud events will now automatically appear in Tandem for the selected school.
