Event requests in Tandem must be approved by every person assigned in the approval workflow for all facilities, groups, and equipment connected to the event. If any approver declines the event request, the event is marked as Declined, and the requester is notified by email.

When a Request Is Declined

  1. The system sends an email to the requester with the reason for the decline.

  2. The event’s status changes to Declined.

  3. The email contains a direct link to the declined event.

How to Re-Request from the Email

  1. Open the email notification.

  2. Click the View button to the declined event request.

  3. Sign in (if required).

  4. On the next page, click the Edit Button in the upper right.

  5. Make any changes needed based on the declined reason given at the top of the email.

  6. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page.

  7. Now click the Re-submit () link in the upper right

If the Email Is Lost: How to Find Declined Requests Manually

  6. Browse the filtered list and click the name of the declined event you want to resubmit or the View button.

  7. On the next page, click the Edit Button in the upper right.

  8. Make any changes needed based on any reasons you know why it was declined.
