Understanding Your Tandem Plan

Tandem offers tiered pricing designed to meet organizations where they are, whether you're a small team just getting started or a large institution with complex scheduling needs.

Free plan: Tandem offers a free tier for small organizations or those wanting to explore the platform before committing. This plan includes core calendar functionality with some limitations on features and user counts.

Pro plan: Our Pro plan is designed for organizations ready to take full advantage of Tandem's capabilities. Priced per user per month, this plan unlocks additional features, expanded storage, and priority support.

Enterprise plan: For larger organizations with advanced needs, our Enterprise plan offers volume-based pricing, dedicated support, custom integrations, and enhanced security features. Enterprise pricing is tailored to your organization's specific requirements.

Accessing Your Billing Settings

Only users with administrator privileges can access and modify billing settings. If you don't see the billing options and believe you should have access, check with your organization's Tandem administrator.

Adding a Payment Method

Credit or debit card: You can pay using Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover. Enter your card details in the billing settings, and your subscription will be charged automatically each billing cycle.

ACH bank transfer: For organizations that prefer to pay directly from a bank account, ACH transfers are available. This option is particularly popular with schools, government entities, and nonprofits that have specific procurement processes.

Invoice and purchase order: Many institutions, especially in education and government, require invoices or need to submit purchase orders before payment can be processed. Tandem accommodates these workflows. Contact our team to set up invoice-based billing, and we'll work with your procurement or accounts payable department to ensure a smooth process.

To add or update your payment method, go to your billing settings, select your preferred payment type, and enter the required information. Your payment details are encrypted and stored securely.

Billing Cycles and Timing

Tandem subscriptions are billed on a regular cycle, and you can choose the option that works best for your organization.

Monthly billing: Pay each month for flexibility. This is a good option if your user count fluctuates or you prefer shorter commitments.

Annual billing: Pay once per year and receive a discounted rate. Annual billing is ideal for organizations with stable user counts who want to simplify their accounting and save money.

Your billing cycle begins on the date you subscribe or upgrade to a paid plan. You'll receive a receipt via email after each successful payment, and you can access your full billing history in your account settings at any time.

Viewing Invoices and Receipts

All of your billing documents are available within Tandem for easy access.

Navigate to your billing settings to view and download past invoices and receipts. Each document includes the billing period, amount charged, payment method used, and a breakdown of your subscription details.

If your organization requires invoices with specific information, such as a purchase order number, tax ID, or particular formatting, let us know. We can customize invoices to meet your accounting requirements.

Updating Your Subscription

As your organization grows or your needs change, you can adjust your Tandem subscription at any time.

Adding users: If your team expands, you can add users directly from your account settings. Additional users are prorated based on where you are in your current billing cycle, so you only pay for the time remaining.

Upgrading your plan: Ready to unlock more features? Upgrade from Free to Pro, or from Pro to Enterprise, through your billing settings. Upgrades take effect immediately, and any payment adjustments are prorated.

Reducing users or downgrading: If your needs decrease, you can remove users or move to a lower tier. Changes typically take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Canceling your subscription: If you need to cancel, you can do so from your billing settings. Your access continues through the end of your current billing period. We'd love to hear your feedback if you do decide to leave, and you're always welcome back.

Payment for Schools and Government Entities

Vendor registration: If your organization requires Tandem to register as an approved vendor before payment can be processed, let us know. We'll complete the necessary paperwork to get set up in your system.

W-9 and tax documentation: We can provide any tax documentation your accounting department requires.

You'll have a grace period to update your payment method and retry the charge. During this time, your access to Tandem continues uninterrupted.

If payment issues remain unresolved after the grace period, your account may be downgraded or access may be temporarily limited until the balance is cleared. We always provide advance notice and multiple opportunities to resolve any payment concerns before taking action.

Security and Privacy
