Managing Key Dates with the Yearly Calendar Wizard
The Yearly Calendar Wizard is designed to help you easily manage non-event-specific dates, such as holidays and breaks, in your Tandem calendar. You can access this wizard at the bottom of the Add Event Wizard.
How to Use the Yearly Calendar Wizard
Open the wizard.
On first use, some common U.S. holidays will automatically load.
Enter the date or date range for the key date.
Example: Add Winter Break once and set it to span multiple days.
Select the schools the key date applies to, or leave it set to All Schools.
Choose a Display Style for how the key date should appear on the calendar.
Display Style Options
Key Date – Default style; shades the entire day on the calendar.
Normal Event – Displays the key date as a standard calendar event.
Special Event – Uses the Special Event Color (configured in My Organization > Logo, Color & Settings) to highlight the date.
