Integrating Tandem with Your Website

Tandem provides several options for integrating your calendar into your website, ranging from simple embeds to advanced data feeds. This flexibility allows you to share your events in the format that works best for your organization.

To access these options, go to My Organization > Integrations > Website.

Integration Options

  • URL – Every Tandem calendar has a unique URL that you can copy and share directly.

  • Embed Wizard – Generate an iframe that displays a list of upcoming events.

    • Customizable options include font, link colors, and date format.

    • Ideal for homepages or sidebars.

    • You can also generate iframe code for specific facilities, groups, event type tags, department tags, or activity tags. (Find these under Admin Actions on the respective detail pages.)

  • Iframe with Navigation – Embed the entire calendar into your website, including navigation.

    • Best for sites without existing navigation conflicts.

  • Iframe without Navigation – Embed only the calendar portion into your site, without extra navigation.

    • Useful when your site already has its own navigation structure.

  • iCal Feed – Subscribe to a live feed of upcoming events.

    • Past events automatically fall off as new ones are added.

    • Compatible with internet calendars like Google Calendar, Outlook, or Apple Calendar.

  • RSS Feed – Insert Tandem events into any RSS reader.

  • PDF – Provide a link to a PDF version of your calendar.

    • Useful for printed distribution.

  • HTML Printer-Friendly View – Offers a simplified calendar view for printing.

    • Less flexible than other options but helpful for quick hard copies.

    • Tip: use fit to page or shrink to fit print options if you want it on a single page
