Managing Subdomains in Tandem

Subdomains allow you to create filtered views of your Tandem calendar, each with its own branding and unique focus. This makes it easy to share tailored calendars with different parts of your community.

Why Subdomains Are Useful

With subdomains, you can:

  • Provide Athletics-only views by filtering for all athletic teams, or by tagging events with the Athletic department tag.

  • Share school-specific views by filtering for a single school.

  • Build location-based views, such as all district fields, gyms, or other facility types.

  • Apply custom color profiles and logos to each subdomain.

How to Start Using Subdomains

  1. Go to your Subdomain settings in Tandem.

  2. Apply the filters you want (e.g., by group, school, location, department, event type, or tags).

  3. Save the subdomain with its own URL.

  4. Customize the subdomain’s logo and color profile to match its purpose.

Once created, each subdomain has its own web address that can be shared directly with parents, students, staff, or the community.
