Setting up your first ad campaign in Tanganica is simple — you can let AI do most of the work, or choose to set everything manually. Follow the steps below to launch your first ads successfully.

✅ Step 1: Start the campaign setup

  1. Log in to your Tanganica account.

  2. Go to the Dashboard or the Get Started guide.

  3. Click Launch your first ad or choose:

    • Quick setup with AI (Recommended – takes about 3 minutes)

    • Manual setup (Takes around 30 minutes)

💡 We recommend using AI setup to save time — you can still edit everything later.

You will be asked to select the ad format:

✅ Step 2: Choose where to show your ads

Select the ad platform you want to start with:

Platform

Description

Google (Recommended)

Best performance, largest reach, ideal starting platform.

Meta (Facebook & Instagram)

Visual ads on social platforms. Great for brand awareness and remarketing.

Bing

Microsoft Search Network — extra reach for users who don’t use Google.

✅ Step 3: Choose your campaign type

You will be asked to select the ad format:

Campaign Type

Description

Performance Max (Recommended)

Shows your products across all major Google placements (Search, YouTube, Gmail, Display, Maps). Uses AI to maximize conversions.

Product Ads

Displays your products in Google Shopping results. Ideal for e-commerce stores.

Text Ads

Standard search ads with headlines and descriptions shown in Google Search results.

✅ Step 4: Make sure the basic setup is complete

Before your campaign can start, check that these steps in the Launch Your First Ads checklist are completed:

  • Upload your products (via XML product feed)

  • Add the tracking code to your online store

  • Set up your first campaign (You are here)

  • Top up your ad credit (to activate the campaign)

✅ Step 5: Launch and optimise

After selecting your platform and campaign type:

  • Set your daily budget.

  • Review suggested assets (headlines, descriptions, images) generated by AI or add your own.

  • Confirm campaign settings.

  • Click Launch campaign.

Your ads will start running once your ad credit is available and the campaign is approved.
