To advertise your products, we need your product XML feed in Google Shopping format. Here’s a simple step-by-step guide to find it and upload it into our app.

1. Getting the URL of your product XML feed

A product XML feed is a file that contains your product data (name, price, stock availability, images, etc.).

👉 Shoptet automatically generates a feed for Google Shopping directly in the admin panel.

A typical feed URL looks like this:

Where to find the feed?

  1. Log in to your Shoptet admin.

  2. In the left menu, go to Integrations → XML feeds.

  3. Find Google Shopping and copy the feed URL.

❗ NOTE – secured feed with hash

Sometimes your XML feed is secured and requires a hash to access it.

How to check if your feed is protected?

  1. In Shoptet admin, go to Integrations → XML feeds.

  2. Open the Security tab.

  3. If the feed is protected, you’ll see your unique hash key.

  4. Make sure the first checkbox in the security settings is unchecked – otherwise, the feed won’t be accessible even with a hash.

How to use the hash?

If your feed is secured, add the hash at the end of the feed URL in this format:

Paste this updated feed URL into the Tanganica app.

👉 If you have trouble finding the feed or the hash, we recommend contacting Shoptet support. 🚀

2. Uploading the feed URL to the Tanganica app

Once you have your feed URL:

  1. Copy the link.

  2. Paste it into the designated field in the app.

  3. Confirm.

✅ Done! If the feed is valid and in the correct format, your products will start loading into the app.

3. What to do if you get an error?

  • The feed is not in the correct format (must be XML, not CSV or JSON).

  • Some required fields are missing or incorrectly structured (e.g., wrong prices or categories).

  • The feed URL is incorrect or inaccessible.

  • The first checkbox in the Security tab is still ticked.
