To advertise your products, we need your product XML feed in Google Shopping format. Shopify doesn’t generate XML feeds by default, but you can easily create one using apps from the Shopify App Store.
1. Do you already have a product XML feed?
Before installing a new app, check if you already have one.
How to check?
Log in to your Shopify admin.
In the left menu, go to Apps.
Look for any installed app that generates XML feeds.
If you find one, open it — your feed is probably already generated. Copy the feed URL and paste it into our app.
👉 If no feed app is installed, continue below to set one up.
2. How to create a product XML feed?
Step 1 – Install an app
Go to the Shopify App Store.
Search for “XML feed” or “Google Shopping feed”.
Choose one of the popular apps, such as:
Feedyio: 100+ Product Feeds
Data Feed Watch Shopping Feeds
Multifeed Google Shopping Feed
Simprosys Google Shopping Feed
Install the app.
Step 2 – Generate the feed
Open the installed app in your Shopify admin.
Fill in the required settings to generate your feed.
Make sure the feed format is XML and set up for Google Shopping.
Once generated, you’ll get a feed URL.
3. Uploading the feed URL to the Tanganica app
Copy your feed URL.
Paste it into the designated field in our app.
Confirm.
✅ Done! If the feed is valid, your products will begin syncing automatically.
4. What if you get an error?
The feed is not in the correct format (must be XML).
Some required fields are missing or have the wrong structure (e.g., prices, categories).
Invalid feed URL — open it in your browser to check if it displays XML.
👉 Still stuck? Check your app’s documentation or contact our support — we’ll be happy to help! 🚀
