This guide explains how to find your existing feed or create one using a “Google Shopping Feed” app from the Wix App Market, and how to fix common issues such as invalid XML format, missing product data, or inaccessible feed URLs.

To advertise your products, we need your product XML feed in Google Shopping format. Wix does not generate this feed by default, but you can easily create one using Wix Stores or other available apps. Here’s how to check if you already have one, or how to generate and upload it into our app.


1. Do you already have a product XML feed?

A product XML feed is a file that contains your product details (name, price, stock availability, images, etc.).

Before creating a new feed, check if you already generated one with an app. If you already have a feed, simply copy the URL and paste it into our app — no need to create a new one.


How to check if you already have a feed:

  1. Log in to your Wix admin.

  2. In the left menu, go to Apps → Manage Apps.

  3. Check if you already have an app installed for generating XML feeds.

  4. If yes, open it — most likely, your feed has already been generated and you can copy the feed URL.

👉 If you don’t have any XML feed app installed, follow the steps below to create one.


2. How to create a product XML feed?

Step 1 – Install an app for XML feed generation

  1. Go to the Wix App Market.

  2. In the search bar, type “Google Shopping feed”.

  3. Select a suitable app and click Add.

Step 2 – Generate the feed

  1. Open the app you just installed.

  2. Configure the necessary settings for feed generation.

  3. Make sure the feed format is XML and compatible with Google Shopping.

  4. Once generated, you should get a feed URL in a format like:
    https://www.myshop.wixsite.com/google-shopping-feed.xml

3. Uploading the feed URL to the Tanganica app

  1. Copy the URL of your product feed.

  2. Paste it into the designated field in our app.

  3. Confirm.

✅ Done! If the feed is valid and correctly formatted, your products will start syncing into the app.


4. What if you get an error?

  • Wrong format → Feed must be XML, not CSV or JSON.

  • Invalid data → Some fields may be missing or incorrect (e.g., prices, categories).

  • Invalid URL → Try opening the feed URL in your browser. If it doesn’t display an XML file, check the app settings.
