To advertise your products, we need your product XML feed in Google Shopping format. Adobe Commerce doesn’t generate this feed by default, but you can easily create it using available extensions from the Adobe Commerce Marketplace. Here’s how:
1. Do you already have a product XML feed?
A product XML feed is a file that contains details about your products (name, price, stock availability, images, etc.). Before creating a new feed, check if you already have one generated via an extension.
How to check:
Log in to your Adobe Commerce admin.
Open your installed extensions list.
Look for any product feed extension.
If you already have one installed, it’s likely that the feed is already generated.
Copy the feed URL and paste it into our app — no need to create a new one.
👉 If no feed exists yet, follow the steps below to create one.
2. How to create a product XML feed?
Step 1 – Install an extension
Visit the Adobe Commerce Marketplace.
Search for “product feed”.
Choose an extension that suits your needs.
Click Add to Cart / Install and follow the instructions to install it in your Adobe Commerce store.
Step 2 – Generate your feed
Open the extension you just installed in your admin.
Configure all the required settings.
Make sure the feed is in XML format and set up for Google Shopping.
After generation, you’ll receive a feed URL, usually in this format:
https://www.myshop.com/media/feed/google_shopping.xml
3. Upload the feed URL to the Tanganica app
Copy the feed URL.
Paste it into the designated field in our app.
Confirm.
✅ Done! If the feed is valid and correctly formatted, your products will start syncing into the app.
4. What if you get an error?
❌ Wrong format → Feed must be XML, not CSV or JSON.
❌ Invalid structure → Some fields may be missing or incorrect (e.g., missing prices or categories).
❌ Invalid URL → Try opening the feed in your browser. If no XML shows, there may be an issue with your extension setup.
👉 If the problem persists, check the extension documentation or contact our support — we’ll be happy to help! 🚀
