Check distances from your phone’s lock screen

  • The lock screen shows your AI Caddie suggestions and plays-like distances without unlocking the phone.

  • Tap the live activity notification to open the app for more details.

View quick green distances

  • In the top left of the app, you'll see distances to the front, middle, and back of the green.

  • Pro Tip - Tap this distance area to zoom in on the green for a closer look. Tap again to zoom back out.

See points of interest distances

  • Throughout the hole, you may see popup bubbles with distances to bunkers, hazards, or layup areas.

Use the movable target to measure any distance

  • Tap anywhere on the screen to bring up a movable target.

  • Long press and drag the target to your desired spot.

  • Alternatively, you can drag or pan the map— the target stays centered while the map moves beneath it.

  • This is useful for more precise targeting, especially if you have larger fingers.

Understand the distance readings

  • On the left side of the screen, you’ll see two numbers representing distances from your current location (or tee box) to the target:

    • Top number: Caddie adjusted “plays-like” distance (accounts for weather, elevation, etc.)

    • Bottom number: Raw GPS distance (straight-line, no adjustments)

  • On the right side of the numbers, you’ll see the club suggestion to reach that target.

Distances from your target to the pin

  • At the top of the screen, see distances from your selected target to the pin.

  • These include both the caddie adjusted and raw GPS numbers.

  • You’ll also see the expected club you would have left for the approach shot.

Dispersion boxes

  • The middle of the GPS screen shows dispersion boxes for each club aimed at your selected target.

  • These boxes represent the expected landing area considering carry and roll, not just a simple oval.

  • Dispersion sizes are based on your club setup in the bag settings and may be adjusted between rounds.

  • This helps you visualize if hazards or bunkers come into play based on where you aim.

Strokes gained versus a pro

  • On the right side, see strokes gained data, showing how many strokes you’d gain or lose versus a professional golfer by hitting your selected target.

  • Use this to evaluate risks, like aiming near a bunker versus playing it safe.

Important Notes

  • Some distance features require a subscription to access.

  • Tournament disables features such as slope, elevation, and weather to make it tournament legal.
