If you use Tangent without an Apple Watch, then this feature is about to be your best friend. Nobody likes constantly fiddling with your phone while on the golf course. The new Lock Screen Activity allows you to simplify the process of getting a quick yardage or club recommendation by bringing Tangent's Caddie to the Lock Screen.

You can use the middle of the screen to manually add locations where you hit swings by hitting 'Add Shot'. This marks your current Geo-Location as having had a shot taken and improves the accuracy of the shot detection.

Additionally, the app will then show you your distance from the last shot you manually tracked (or if you have an Apple Watch... your last automatically detected swing). This is great for bragging about that long drive or for seeing how far you are from your last shot when you're looking for a lost ball.

The right hand side of the activity shows you a caddie adjusted distance and club recommendation based on your skill and current conditions.

In Tournament Mode, the screen is simplified to be tournament compliant.

Ready to turn it on? Check your 'Tracking' settings in Tangent Preferences and make sure 'Lock Screen Activity' is turned on.
